The Ontario Printing and Imaging Association works with other print associations across Canada and the USA to support the industry.

Atlantic Printing & Association (APIA)

The APIA helps to coordinate community members in Atlantic Canada to address common issues and industry concerns. The association strives to provide positive messages on the effectiveness and sustainability of print, hosting networking events and educational seminars to share trends and best practices with its members.

Alliance de Québécoise des Imprimeurs et Fabricants d’Emballage (AQIFE)

Notre mission est de rassembler l’industrie québécoise de l’imprimerie et de l’emballage et de la promouvoir auprès du grand public, des gouvernements et des institutions, notamment en matière de développement durable, d’éducation, de formation de la main-d’œuvre, de santé et sécurité au travail.

Our mission is to bring together the Quebec printing and packaging industry and promote it to the general public, governments and institutions, particularly in terms of sustainable development, education, workforce training, health and safety at work.

Canadian Printing Industries Association (CPIA)

The Canadian Printing Industries Association was founded in 1939. From its inception until 1958 it was known as the Canadian Graphic Arts Association. From 1958 until 1987, it was known as the Graphic Arts Industries Association. In 1987, its current name, the Canadian Printing Industries Association (CPIA) was adopted.

There were four categories of members in CPIA: Printers, Suppliers, Consultants and Special Members (i.e., Universities, Colleges, Museums and other Associations related to the printing industry).

Manitoba Print Industries Association (MPIA)

The Manitoba Print Industry Association Inc. (MPIA) is a non-profit industry-based organization created to:

– increase awareness of the Manitoba print industry

– attract and retain individuals into the industry; and

– expand training opportunities within the existing workforce.

Printing Equipment and Supply Dealers Association (PESDA)

The Printing Equipment and Supply Dealers Association (PESDA) was formed in 1975 by six Graphic Arts Supply Dealers of Equipment and Materials who are suppliers to the Graphic Communications Industry. Our Vision is to be the premier national resource for the suppliers to the Graphic Communications Industry, providing relevant information and value-added services to our members and for the common good of the industry.

PrintForward Printing and Imaging Association

For printers and print industry companies, PrintForward provides resources, a voice to government, education programs and networking opportunities that are specific and unique to the industry.

PrintForward delivers valuable print industry-specific solutions that are only accessible through membership and through its affiliations with Printing Industries of America (PIA), whattheythink.com, the BC Alliance for Manufacturing, and other industry associations.

Printing and Graphics Industries of Alberta (PGIA)

The Printing and Graphics Association of Alberta (PGIA) is a not for profit trade association, dedicated to promoting the interests of the printing and graphics related industries in Alberta. The association is governed by an elected Board of Directors, representing some of the most advanced businesses within the printing and graphics industries.

PGIA is a member of the Printing Industries of America (PIA) which promotes the interests of the graphics arts industry on an International level.

Saskatchewan Printing Industries Association (SPIA)

The Saskatchewan Printing Industries Association (SPIA) is a non-profit, voluntary trade association dedicated to promoting the best interests of the printing and allied industries in Saskatchewan. The provincial association is governed by a Board of Directors, which is elected by the membership from among the most progressive firms in the industry.

The association was formed in 1960 as the Saskatchewan Graphics Arts Association with the amalgamation of the Saskatoon Employing Printers Association and the Employing Printers Association of Regina.

PRINTING United Alliance

Canadian Print Scholarships

The mission of Canadian Print Scholarships is to attract the brightest and best students available to the graphic communications industry by providing financial assistance to enroll and continue in a post-secondary management or technical program at an approved institution.
