PrintAction is thrilled to launch the 18th annual Canadian Printing Awards featuring more than 50 categories to celebrate some of the nation’s best printing and technological solutions.
The 2024 program includes 14 printing categories, 33 print production categories, nine packaging categories, nine labels categories, four environmental printing categories and five technology categories.
The printing and print production categories continue to be the heart of the Canadian Printing Awards program, highlighting the importance of high-quality and efficient printing output, with categories spanning offset, web offset, toner and inkjet printing.
New this year
This year, we’ve launched two completely new categories of Packaging and Labels this year, as well as :
- Best Workflow Project of the Year
- Best Community Impact Project of the Year
- Best Place to Work
- Best Direct Mail Project of the Year
Industry Achievement Awards
We are also accepting nominations in the industry achievement categories:
The John A. Young Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes an individual who has made significant contributions to the Canadian print industry over a 35-plus year career, excels in leadership and shows commitment to their community both within and out of the print industry.
The Printing Leader of the Year Award recognizes an individual who has made significant contributions to the Canadian print industry over their career, excels in leadership and shows commitment to their community both within and out of the print industry.
The Emerging Leader of the Year Award recognizes an individual of 40 years of age or under who demonstrates a strong work ethic, leadership, initiative and a unique ability to guide and inspire others in the industry.
The Community Leader of the Year Award recognizes an individual whose services/actions have made a meaningful contribution or impact on their community.
A new category this year, the Plant Manager of the Year Award recognizes an individual with outstanding contributions as the manager of a print/packaging/label manufacturing plant in Canada.
Submissions must be received by September 13, with early bird entry pricing available until July 31. All winners will be announced at the 2024 Canadian Printing Awards Gala at Palais Royale in Toronto on November 7.
